Who we are

Beach Bliss Vacay is a small, owner-operated business managing two short-term vacation rental properties in Daytona Beach Shores and Ponce Inlet, Florida. Questions about this policy: osmandius@gmail.com.

Text message (SMS) program

We send text messages to two groups of people, and only for operational reasons connected to a stay or a work assignment. We never send marketing or promotional text messages.

Guests

If you have a confirmed reservation and give us your mobile number when booking or during pre-arrival messaging, we may text you:

• a link to your personal digital stay guide (door and lobby access codes, WiFi, parking, check-out steps);
• check-in and check-out reminders;
• a link to review and sign the required short-term rental lease agreement;
• occasional messages about your specific stay if something changes.

Cleaning and co-host staff

Staff who work on our properties and agree at onboarding may receive cleaning turnover schedules and same-day turnaround alerts.

Consent, frequency, and opting out

• Consent: you opt in by giving us your mobile number for your reservation or work assignment. Consent is not a condition of booking — you can ask us to email you instead.
• Frequency: message frequency varies; it is tied to your stay or schedule, typically only a few messages per stay.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email us.
• Every message identifies us as Beach Bliss Vacay.

What we collect and why

We collect only what we need to host your stay: your name, email address, mobile number, number of guests in your party, and your reservation dates. We use it to send your check-in details and stay guide, to prepare the property, and to meet the lease requirements for short-term rentals.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with any third party for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers that operate this business on our behalf (for example, our messaging, email, e-signature, and cloud hosting providers), and only so they can deliver those services to us.

Booking platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo handle their own data under their own privacy policies when you book through them.

Your stay guide link

Your stay guide link is personal to your reservation and contains access codes for the property. Please don't share it publicly. Links stop working after your stay ends.

Retention and your choices

We keep reservation and contact details only as long as needed to host your stay and meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing osmandius@gmail.com.
